Rico Anderson
The Journey:
Rico Anderson is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of the Suitland High Schoool of Performing Arts.

In the early 90's, as a teenager Rico was signed to Michael Bivins' Motown imprint Biv Entertainment as a Music Producer. While at Biv Entertainment, Rico produced such artists as 'Boyz II Men', 'Another Bad Creation', 'MC Brains',

and 'Bell Biv DeVoe'. In addition Rico has also produced music for Will Smith, Mya, Fat Joe and Remy Ma amongst others. Rico's music has also been featured on Soundtracks and films "White men can't jump", "CB4", and "Centerstage".

Aside from producing Rico is also a DJ and has toured the country and abroad for almost a decade with legendary HIP HOP DJ Kid Capri. In doing so Rico has played at some of the biggest celebrity parties and special events.

Kid Capri and Rico have also collabed in the studio with music production for 'Snoop Dog', 'The Def Jams 25th anniversary show', Capri's album "The Love" and created the first ever 'Go-Go' Loops sound pack for Native Instruments available at Sounds.com.

In 2021 Rico along with the legendary Go-Go vocalist Shorty Corleone created the 'Crank Radio Show' on Sirius XM HUR Voices. It's the first and only radio station dedicated to the Go-Go Culture on XM radio.

Rico reunited with his mentor Michael Bivins and served as music director on Bivins' documentary "The hustle of 617 Mike Biv". Rico is also releasing his own project entitled "Elecktro Lights On" an eclectic blend of EDM, HIP HOP and POP SOUL.
